"The Swing Geezers"

"The Swing Geezers", of Calgary, Alberta are a trio of "gently aging" friends who have a fondness for Urban and Western Swing music from the "Golden Age" of Radio. It is unclear if this is just a textbook case of denial, or merely their way of fighting back.

Material is taken from the song books of Irving Berlin, Louis Jordan, Cole Porter, and Bob Wills, to name just a few.

The boys are known for their exceptional musicianship, taste and creative arrangements. They are also known for their somewhat irreverent senses of humour. Their program is spiced with promotional announcements for "Geezer Brand" products and amusing anecdotes relating to the aging process and borrowed freely from the traditions of Radio and Medicine Shows.

The Swing Geezers are available for bookings.
